Box 7 of the staff report (The Longer Term Size of the Fed’s Balance Sheet, p. 19) estimates the reserves the Federal Reserve needs to keep its ample-reserves operating regime, using the reserve-demand estimation approach of Chen, Kourentzes and Veyrune (2023).
